The Regional Network of Centers for Advanced Studies in Southeast Europe (RECAS) connects scholars and institutions from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia, and Croatia. It promotes regional exchange,
public scholarship, and innovation at the intersection of research and policy. 
 
This year’s fellowship offers early-career researchers the chance to: 
Work directly with youth across the Western Balkans 
Receive a €1,500 monthly stipend (for 3–6 months) 
Join an inspiring Surgery Week on Cres Island 
Explore themes of youth political and eco-digital futures through workshops, seminars, and a Policy Hackathon
